The Role

We are looking to employ an individual to be part of our growing team providing investment advisory services to a diverse range of clients.

The role provides the banking and settlements function for the Firm. The objective is to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the day to day financial operations of the Firm.

The main focus of the role comprises facilitating the payment and transfers of funds to a variety of client and broker bank accounts.  It also includes the administration of the Firm's other accounting functions including its capital to ensure it meets regulatory obligations.

This is a diverse and challenging role which will suit someone who is looking to play a strong support role within a close and encouraging team who are passionate about financial markets and what they do.

The ability to adapt to new systems and processes quickly, knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel would be beneficial.

Previous experience within the financial sector will be highly advantageous along with an understanding of industry terminology and regulation.

Skills And Experience

The person we are looking for will need to have the following attributes:

  • Previous experience in financial and accounting roles e.g. accounting or auditing experience would be ideal

  • Knowledge of internet banking and general accounting principles

  • Knowledge / Proven experience of the Microsoft Office suite of products and in particular Excel to an intermediate level

  • A high level of accuracy and impeccable attention to detail in all elements of work

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Strong organisation and planning skills

  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills
